  1.  Background

The Competition and Fair Trading Commission (CFTC) is a body corporate established under the Competition and Fair Trading Act, Cap 48:09 of the Laws of Malawi.

The CFTC has allocated funds and intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds towards the cost of procurement of branded zitenje.

  •  Technical Specifications

The following are the specifications for the zitenje:

  • Cotton cloth
    • Branded with CFTC Logo based on the following colour combinations:
  • Cotton fabric cloth
  • In CFTC Logo Colors:
    • Blue background
      • R- 32
      • G-70
      • B- 86
    • Gold background
      • R-194
      • G-125
      • B-39
  • Non-fading when washed.
  •  Delivery Period

The delivery period is thirty (30) days.

  •  Eligibility Requirements

Interested eligible bidders may submit expressions of interest to the address below. The submission MUST include:

  • Relevant registration documents;
  • Tax Payment Number Certificate;
  • Tax Clearance Certificate for the immediate business year;
  • Valid PPDA Registration Certificate
  • MSME Registration Certificate; and
  • Minimum of two proofs for successful supply and delivery of similar goods.

Quotations should first be registered then deposited in a Tender Box that will be placed close to the Reception at or before 29th August 2022 at 10:00 AM.Late submissions shall be rejected.
